Yes, thats the same Randy Jackson who is the American Idol judge, famous for saying, 'Yo dog, you got talent.' Who knew he was the bassist of JOURNEY!? Who knew he had a haircut resembling that of Theo Huxtable!? Blew my mind i tell you. Blew. My. Mind.

No Way! NO WAY! I had no idea about this. I thought that he was just some random hip music exec that they put on the show to give it street cred. Awesome!
